Test Engineer

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Integration & Test Engineer. The successful candidate will work with the design team and be the integration & test authority for assigned projects. The I&T Engineer supports the development and maintenance of the test requirements, test plan, & test approach from project kick-off through closure of the contract. Responsible for verification of technical scope as defined by the design authority, with a focus of maintaining cost and schedule goals. Facilitates coordination of cross-functional engineering teams for requirements development.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and coordinate with the Engineering Support team to get parts on order and systems built
- Manages requirement traceability through verification, using tools such as a Requirements Verification Matrix
- Integrate Kratos and other COTS products to satisfy customer requirements and communicate with design team on discrepancies
- Validate customer requirements in a formal setting (ie Factory Acceptance Test events)
- Coordinate with customer support and development team to triage customer inquiries and discrepancies associated with delivered systems
- Coordinates with the Project Engineer & Program Manager (PM), design team and functional management to communicate program impediments or issues / delays in completing tasks
- Familiarity with RF Communications
- Familiarity with commercial test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, WAN Emulator, etc.
- Familiarity with Python software language
- Ability to create test plans and test procedures in MS Word
- Good communication and relationship skills with program leadership, engineering leadership, customers, and engineering team members
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors, maintaining a professional demeanor
- Awareness of software and product development techniques, Agile, SCRUM, and Water-fall approaches
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Salary Range: $85,000 - $94,000
