Job Description
Participate in end-to-end Quality Assurance activities on Ecommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce). Apply QA methodologies in each Software development Life cycle process. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies/tools and apply them in day to day tasks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible to work closely with our Development, Support, DevOps and Project Management teams. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, he/she will be accountable for daily task progress, producing test metrics & responsible for different testing activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Understand project requirements and define test objectives/strategies.
- Test case Development: Create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts to cover back and & front end testing.
- Test Execution: Performing manual testing using different testing techniques following the defined test cases. It involves executing test cases, recording test results, reporting and tracking defects, and providing adequate feedback to the development team.
- Testing types: Knowledge of integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, compatibility testing & accessibility testing.
- Documentation: Create documents to record test procedures, results, defects and metrics during the testing phase.
- Continuous improvement: Keeping uptodate with emerging QA tools and technologies and contribute to existing test frameworks
Qualifications
- BSc in Computer Science or related field
- 2 to 5 years experience in QA sector
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Experience in testing ecommerce websites
- Knowledge in PHP/JS is an advantage
- Focused, Proactive, Accountable, Strong customer focus and good team player
- An outgoing persona who is willing to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced working environment
