Job Description – Test Engineer (TE)
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and functional requirements to understand application behavior.
Prepare, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing.
Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Coordinate with Business Analysts and Development teams for issue resolution.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.
Maintain test execution reports, defect metrics, and daily status updates.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure quality deliverables within project timelines.
Contribute to continuous process improvement and testing best practices.
Skills Required
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing
- Experience in Functional Testing, Integration, System, and Regression Testing
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and test case design/execution
- Experience with defect tracking and defect management tools
- Ability to analyze business and functional requirements and perform end-to-end application testing
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities
- Exposure to Retail Assets or Loan Origination Systems
- Experience working in Agile teams and participating in sprint ceremonies
- Coordination with Business Analysts and Development teams for issue resolution
