Nationality Requirements

Due to the nature of the programs we support, certain roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Position Summary

Leads small-to-medium sized software engineering projects within cost and quality requirements as assigned and allocates or coordinates work within project. Serves as a subject matter expert and influencer to make complex decisions based on advanced analytical expertise providing innovative solutions and supporting the decision-making process. Typically reports to a manager. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group.

Job Description

Designs and develops software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Develops solutions and solves complex problems to deliver engineering projects on-time, on-quality, and on-budget directly impacting positive project outcomes for a variety of circumstances. Develops processes for team and influences decisions by providing advanced technical advice to team(s). Remains current on trends and emerging technologies and tools. Coaches and advises more junior team members. Estimates engineering packages of work to identify dependencies and ensure the deliverability of assigned work packages. May include safety, environmental protection and compliance.

Typically, a Bachelor Degree in a related field and 9+ years experience within a relevant complex engineering environment.
May be required to maintain security clearance.
