Position location is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week. Secret level clearance is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Write and execute functional and performance test procedures at feature and sub-system levels for software requirement verification.
- Work closely with software and systems engineering teams using an Agile development Design and develop functional and performance tests at feature and sub-system levels
- Execute tests in a development environment to show requirements and integration objectives are met and meet program milestone test event objectives which support mission readiness
- Advance the team's pursuit of higher quality and faster deployment into integrated environments within a DevOps and CI/CD construct
- Evaluate and integrate new system features
- Participate in team and program Agile ceremonies
Required Skills & Experience
- Clearance Required: Secret. This position requires the ability to obtain an Interim DOD Secret Clearance. Interim or Active DOD Secret clearance or higher is preferred. Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience with software integration, integration testing and debugging. Advanced Python knowledge.
- Experience with Xray for test creation and management; Gherkin and Behave for test automation.
- General knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile development tools and methodologies.
- Experience with test methodologies, test/behavior driven development.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with satellite ground system processing, including planning and scheduling, ground control, data processing, and command and control domains (working knowledge of FORGE MDPAF highly desired)
- Knowledge of vSphere and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience with team productivity tools such as JIRA and Confluence, GitLab, or Microsoft equivalents (Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Exposure to Java, JavaScript, Typescript, C++
