Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute test plans, procedures, and reports for RF and system-level testing.
- Conduct functional, performance, and integration tests across simulated, lab, and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
- Identify, configure, and maintain RF test equipment (e.g., signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, SDRs, antennas, power meters) to ensure test readiness.
- Coordinate test events, including RF transmission and live range tests, ensuring compliance with safety and spectrum regulations.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts and tools using Python or C++ to support validation and regression testing.
- Collaborate with software developers and system engineers to define test requirements, instrument interfaces, and troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues.
- Capture and analyze test data, identify defects, and support root-cause analysis of system anomalies.
- Manage bug tracking, change requests, and test documentation to maintain configuration control.
- Plan and oversee lab setup, calibration, and maintenance to ensure test fidelity.
- Participate in live system testing, demonstrations, and field events at various locations (travel required).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in test engineering, system verification, or validation of RF or embedded systems.
- Experience developing and executing structured test plans and writing detailed test documentation.
- Proficiency with Python and familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.).
- Knowledge of software build processes, automation tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
