You Will:

  1. Create, maintain, and modify test programs for EV powertrain manufacturing.
  2. Design, fabricate, validate, and document test systems for electrical and electromechanical products.
  3. Modify testing equipment hardware and software to provide enhanced test coverage.
  4. Coordinate the deployment of firmware changes onto flashing stations within the manufacturing line.
  5. Work directly with test & design engineers to create test procedures for manufacturing End-Of-Line tests.  
  6. Coordinate the calibration of test equipment hardware to ensure compliance.
  7. Investigate root cause of test failures and help to drive product improvement.


You Bring:

  1. 2+ years of experience in testing of electrical or electromechanical devices, preferably in a production environment.
  2. Hands-on skills to design, build, and bring up test benches. 
  3. Working knowledge of NI LabVIEW or Veristand.
  4. Experience troubleshooting high-voltage electrical test systems.
  5. Experience with AutoCAD electrical or equivalent schematic design/documentation software package.
  6. Experience in EV powertrain manufacturing is a plus.
  7. Automotive component/system testing experience is a plus.
  8. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, UDS and TCP/IP, automotive ethernet.  
  9. Experience with Vector CAN / Ethernet tools is a plus.
  10. Experience with lithium-ion batteries and power electronics is a plus.
  11. Experience working with NI or equivalent data acquisition hardware.
  12. BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields, MS preferred
