Positively impacting people’s lives every day in every home around the world.
The Role

Our purpose is to positively impact people’s lives every day in every home around the world! We work very hard to provide our consumers with high-quality, exciting 5-star products that make life easier. We thrive on passion and innovation and are looking for great people, with great ideas, who want to build the next big thing and develop while they do.

OVERVIEW:

The Ninja Product Test Department’s role is to ensure our customers get the highest-reliability products possible.  We do this through extensive testing of our products as we develop them.  This role is responsible for owning all testing activities for one or more products in development.  You will support the Test Manager in defining the testing needs of our products, ensuring these test activities are properly run, and reporting out of results.  You will have the opportunity to design and build new test fixtures, come up with new ways to collect and analyze test data, and report testing status to the product teams.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:

  • With guidance from your manager, own all testing activities for your assigned products.
  • Create test plans and ensure they are complete and contain enough details related to protocols, data to be collected, and pass/fail criteria.
  • Coordinate testing needs with both US and China-based test team resources.
  • Under supervision of Test Team management, be a hands-on contributor in designing, setting up, and executing product tests.  These tests are primarily on physical products, but some validation of software may be required.
  • Identify and help implement opportunities to automate product testing.
  • With oversight from management, create test protocols to ensure we are testing effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform black box testing on your products to ensure proper consumer user experience.
  • Organize and report your results to Test Team management and product teams.
  • Order materials and equipment needed to perform testing.
  • Learn how to use new test equipment and document test protocols.

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in an engineering field
  • 0-3 years of experience in engineering within CPG industry preferred.
  • Experience with any of the following: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, scripting including Python
  • You’re a builder or tinkerer – you have a technical mindset, and you like to work with your hands
  • Ability to clearly document testing expectations to US and China resources
  • Strong ability to manage multiple activities at the same time
  • Willingness to learn how to use new lab equipment
  • A basic understanding of statistical methods
  • Clear written communication especially in documenting the work you’ve done
  • Competency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)

What We Do

SharkNinja redefines fast-paced. Bringing new, complex products to market in new categories every six months is not for the faint of heart. As a result, the talent that comprises our workforce is intelligent, committed, creative, and resilient no matter which department you call home. Everywhere you look here, you see the best of the best.

What makes SharkNinja unique is our method – almost a proprietary intensity – that is shared from top to bottom and produces incredible results. Ours is a winning team that creates the opportunity for anyone to be a winner. It’s a place where we can all (and are expected to) test, fail, learn, win, scale, and do it fast without ego. It’s not easy here by any stretch, but when you see that product that was just a sketch on a slide six months ago and is now on Amazon getting rave reviews, you can’t help but think, ‘Wow, look what we did together.’ If you like that feeling, then SharkNinja might be the place for you.

Why Work With Us

Whether your passion is engineering, designing, marketing, or developing, at SharkNinja you’ll find we’re all about people. We work together to create world-class products that delight our consumers. Building an admired consumer products problem solving engine is hard; we do it better than others by operating differently.
