Torch Technologies is seeking an Entry Level Test Analyst to join our team and provide in-depth system performance and interoperability analysis supporting Missile Defense System (MDS) flight testing, ground testing, and simulation-based test events. This position supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Test Analysis and Reporting activity across all phases of system-level test execution, including pre-mission predictive analysis, on-site quick-look assessments, and post-mission detailed analysis.
As an Entry Level Test Analyst, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Conduct system-level performance and interoperability analyses for flight test, ground test, and simulation-based Missile Defense System (MDS) events.
Support pre-mission predictive analysis activities to assess expected system performance and mission outcomes.
Perform on-site quick-look analysis during test execution to provide timely insights and preliminary results.
Conduct post-mission detailed analysis using multiple data sources to evaluate system performance and interoperability.
Utilize existing and off-the-shelf tools, including data processing and visualization software, to analyze MDS test data.
Develop data visualizations and reports using tools such as Tableau, SQL, and Python to support analysis and decision-making.
Prepare test analysis documentation, test readiness briefs, quick-look reports, and detailed post-test analysis products.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, government stakeholders, and test teams to support integrated test planning and execution activities.
Support reporting and briefing activities for senior leadership, ensuring clarity and accuracy of technical findings.
Participate in a multi-disciplinary team environment supporting mission-critical test and evaluation efforts.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or another technical discipline.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Knowledge of or experience with Tableau workbook development.
Familiarity with SQL and Python for data analysis and visualization.
Strong curiosity, self-initiative, leadership potential, and customer interface skills.
Ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Interest in systems analysis, test and evaluation, and data-driven performance assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to DoD test and evaluation environments.
Experience supporting data analysis, systems engineering, or simulation-based testing.
Familiarity with missile defense or aerospace systems.
