About the role
We are looking for a Test & Component Engineer in Connectivity team where you will contribute to developing innovative software for automotive industry. Telematics exposes the internal car ecosystem to the Internet: the car becomes an element of the Internet of Things (IoT), offering a new level of access to car’s functionalities and a platform to build additional features in areas such as safety, security, comfort. You will work with concepts like Telematics, 5G and V2X (vehicle-to-everything).
What you will do
- Keep evidences for all HW components from teams
- Collect all requests for new or defect HW components
- Distribute HW components to teams and verify HW functionality
- Collect and maintain evidences for HW changes in projects
- Maintain functionality of test benches from office
- Review Software specifications, Testing procedures,
- Creating/Assisting on test cases
- Test and Validate accordingly to the requirement and specifications
- Write Unit test cases and create detailed reports for the testing procedure
- Provide real time status for the current tasks and report weekly activity
- Create/Update documentation for the testing procedures
- Participate in test validation review sessions, weekly meeting, project sync
- Act according the standards of the automotive industry and in-car applications
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other similar specialization
- 3+ years Testing experience
- Good understanding of Embedded System and Automotive Products
- Have a good understanding of the technical aspects of a wide range of equipment, including computers, software, and hardware
- Good experience in system test methods, processes, error management and tools
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and database administration tools
- Knowledge of standard industry communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc
- Understanding about diagnosis topics of a vehicle and about diagnostic communication protocols used in electronic control units
