About the role: 

You will be a member of the Test Automation team, reporting to an Engineering manager, within the Platform group. You are expected to be able to technically lead tasks and projects the team has to fulfill. The team’s role is central, across the Engineering organization, and is an essential part of the effort for maintaining a healthy and reliable service in our Production environment.

The team's tasks are:

  • Developing, maintaining and monitoring automated tests for the companies services, end to end
  • Developing and maintaining company’s UI testing infrastructure 
  • Maintaining and improving the company's test automation system
  • Assisting development teams with bringing up their test automation operations, where needed

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare, run, and maintain test automation suits, as needed
  • Technically lead tasks and projects within the team’s work
  • Monitor test automation runs and review test reports
  • Debug test automation runs failures to determine whether these failures are functional bugs or automation bugs
  • Debug and fix automation bugs
  • Develop new test automation functions, as will be required
  • Report any bugs you find (Jira)

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in software test automation engineering
  • Solid knowledge in programming (academic, dedicated test automation studies, self-learning)
  • Coding languages: Jave and NodeJs
  • Experience in mobile testing with Appium
  • Experience in web testing with Cypress
  • Familiarity with REST API
  • High-level English
  • Selenium, BrowserStack, CI/CD experience, proven experience in writing complex end-to-end scenarios
  • Preferred: Experience programming with Kotlin, experience using Spring Boot in Java
  • Excellent communication and teamship skills
  • Strong analytical and learning skills
  • Ability to cope with fast-paced high-demanding working environment
