Key responsibilities
Manage the necessary software for the control equipment.
Manage an adequate backup of the programs in the control equipment.
Coordinate with the area of Manufacturing Engineering, actions for the optimization of control systems, safety, Poka yokes.
Manage improvement projects to update existing technology.
Participate in both corrective and preventive actions in case of maintenance area problems.
Statistical study and analysis of production lines to detect failures and reflect improvement results.
Updating control systems in production equipment.
Verify compliance with the different steps of the production processes defined through the systems logic.
Actively participate in Productivity, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities with the vision to improve current production systems.
Participation in the Annual Physical Inventory
What we’re looking for
Education: Mechanical Engineer - Electrician, Mechatronics Engineer, Industrial Engineer in Electronics, Electronics Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer or related career.
Time of experience in similar position: 3 years or more in similar position.
Technical knowledge required: Advanced PLC, advanced electronics, low voltage electricity, electrical and electronic diagrams, preventive and predictive maintenance, use of measuring instruments, management and ability of logic control and measurement software, interpretation of T-Spec in test equipment, analysis and troubleshooting, ISO 14001, industrial safety systems and environmental ecology, environmental regulations, industrial safety and hygiene, NOM's. Legal procedures before Federal, State and Municipal Government Institutions, Accident investigation and prevention, Ergonomics and Risk analysis.
Other requirements: Microsoft Office, SAP
