As a QA tester you will work within the Copenhagen QA team allocated to Euronext Securities on going projects.
You will collaborate with test managers, project managers and development teams to design and support quality assurance and testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key activities
- Define and support the integration test approach for the projects.
- Estimate, prioritise and execute testing activities.
- Provide clear, accurate and regular reporting through KPIs related to test plan implementation and the automation strategy.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Partner with other QA team members to align common tools and approaches for testing and automation.
- Work with development and infrastructure teams to implement a CI/CD strategy that incorporates test by design and embedded automated tests.
- Define and provide technical guidance and best practices for software development teams and business operations teams.
- Contribute to the definition, implementation and monitoring of company quality standards, including synchronisation with other quality assurance units.
- Monitor and manage risks associated with the test plan and contribute to risk identification.
Required skills and experience
- At least five years’ experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in QA methodology and testing processes.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
- Experience in implementing automated tests.
- Experience with tools such as Git, Java, Cucumber, Playwright, JMeter, PostgreSQL and Xray.
- Previous experience in software testing processes integrated with CI/CD tools.
- Good organisational skills, autonomy, proactivity, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Deliverables
- Test plans aligned with the defined scope
- Manual and automated tests planned for each development sprint and executed successfully.
- Functional tests executed successfully.
- Testing reports covering all QA and testing metrics defined for each type of test.
