Position Summary

The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving new business development, account acquisition, program implementation, and utilization growth across a defined territory. This role requires a combination of strategic selling, physician engagement, territory development, and ongoing account management.

Success in this role will be measured not only by new account acquisition but also by the ability to drive meaningful adoption, expand utilization, and establish sustainable clinical programs within customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within physician practices, hospitals, integrated delivery networks, and academic medical centers.

• Build and execute strategic territory plans to drive market penetration and revenue growth.

• Partner with healthcare providers to implement successful clinical programs and ensure long-term utilization.

• Educate physicians, administrators, and clinical staff on the clinical and operational value of the technology.

• Drive physician adoption through ongoing training, support, and account development activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, reimbursement, marketing, and leadership stakeholders.

• Maintain a high level of customer engagement throughout the sales process and post-sale implementation.

• Provide market feedback and customer insights to support commercialization efforts.

• Participate in industry conferences, educational programs, and customer events as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidates will have experience introducing new medical technologies and successfully growing utilization after initial account acquisition.

Preferred experience includes:

• Medical device, diagnostics, healthcare technology, or capital equipment sales.

• Experience calling on gastroenterologists and related healthcare stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success launching new products, therapies, or technologies.

• Program development and physician adoption experience.

• Strong hunting mentality with the ability to build new business from the ground up.

• Experience navigating complex healthcare organizations and multiple decision makers.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
