About the Role:
Technica Mining is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Tendering Coordinator, working out of our Sudbury headquarters and reporting to the Business Manager. Strong organizational and computer skills are considered assets for this role, and we encourage candidates who possess them to apply."
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Registering new tenders, RFPs and RFQs, and setting up folders, compliance matrices, and estimating files for each opportunity
- Auditing tender packages for completeness and flagging gaps to the Business Manager
- Preparing Go/No-Go decision packs with client, project, and bid history research
- Maintaining the master tender calendar and scheduling backward from submission deadlines
- Controlling document versions and assembling final submissions to client specifications
- Managing client clarification questions and submitting tenders through required channels
- Tracking win/loss outcomes and rates, and reporting pipeline and hit-rate metrics
- Maintaining vendor portal registrations (ISNetworld, Avetta, Cognibox, etc.) and prequalification submissions
- Tracking expiry dates for insurance, bonding, safety certifications, and jurisdictional registrations
- Owning Technica's tender templates and corporate content library
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business administration, project coordination, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in tender/proposal coordination, document control, or bid administration, ideally in construction or mining
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
- Excellent written communication and cross-departmental coordination skills
- Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and vendor management portals
- Strong discretion in handling confidential client and pricing information
