Position Overview

As a Tencent Cloud CPaaS Presales Product Operations Manager, you will play a key role in expanding and supporting Tencent Cloud’s international communication services, with a focus on SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, and Viber solutions. You will be responsible for driving market strategies, supporting business teams, and managing the resource planning for international telecom services. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with global telecom operators to enhance Tencent Cloud’s communication solutions. Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the expansion and sales support for Tencent Cloud’s international and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan SMS services, developing and executing customer acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with business, service, and technical teams to provide comprehensive support including product training, solution design, and business strategy formulation.
  • Take ownership of the resource planning and deployment for international SMS channels, Voice, WhatsApp, and Viber services, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Work closely with the procurement team in identifying high-quality, stable telecom operators/service providers, and work with the business team in negotiations and onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant cloud communication product solutioning experience.
  • Solid background in telecommunications, with a wealth of experience working with telecom operators across various markets. 
  • Proven expertise in business development, operations, and management within the communications field.
  • Strong global perspective with keen insights into domestic and international market trends and industry dynamics.
  • Exceptional English and Chinese Mandarin communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with proficiency in business negotiations.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and coordination skills, with a talent for building collaborative relationships and driving results.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, self-driven with a proactive approach to work, and a passion for learning and continuous improvement
