Seeking experienced business reporters to conduct interviews and outreach with the CEOs of companies making the list and write accompanying bios. There may be additional opportunity to write a story associated with the list. Part-time / 20 hours a week
Responsibilities:
- Writing sharp, compelling bios/blurbs
- Contacting listmakers for information including financial data
- Fact-checking and organizing information
- Collecting photos from listmakers
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in business journalism.
- Strong writing and reporting skills
- Research experience
- Attention to detail in fact-checking
- Comfort contacting sources and getting financial information
- Commitment to detail and deadlines with high-level time management and organizational skills
The hourly rate for this role is $35.00 - $50.00
