VeeFriends is looking to hire a Temporary (but possibly permanent) logistics and fulfillment specialist. This role will work cross-functionally with Project Management to ensure strong integration and support from our wider teams and seamless coordination of product and inventory for IRL Brand events.


The Temporary logistics and fulfillment role will be pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, high attention to detail, a strong customer and unboxing experience, and helping the brand optimize its process for driving top-line sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is an on-site role, requiring up to 5 days/week in our New York City offices, at approximately 40 hours per week, which may periodically include evenings and/or weekend support.
  • Support the Product and Collectibles team during LiveCommerce show hours, ensuring inventory is tracked with high attention to detail and appropriate handling of the product is taken into account. This includes but is not limited to the “Sleeving” of high-value and delicate trading cards and collectibles implemented for product protection. Coordinate with our Operations teams to ensure stock levels are adequate for product packaging and mailers - e.g., envelopes, bubble mailers, tape, and more. Organized use of commercial-grade mailers and labeling is implemented for shipping & handling. Maintaining an organized and clean working environment to ensure a seamless assembly line is maintained - from product “ripping” through outbound mailing to the consumer.
  • Support team members, including LiveCommerce “hosts,” the Marketing Manager of Collectibles, and platform strategy producers. This is required for “day-of stream” preparations, including studio configuration and filming operations.
  • Support inventory transfers, QA, and product counts as inventory moves between 3PLs and storage spaces to Studio Stream Locations.
  • Support our Marketing team in fulfilling product “seeding” and gifting to consumers and content creators or influencers, ensuring the product is delivered via mail or, where relevant, digitally.
  • Work closely with the Collectibles Analyst when necessary tasks are needed to support Authentication and “Grading” of key collectibles, including the use of software to submit for authentication and grading of VeeFriends-owned cards utilizing software and tools, such as Fanatics Collect and eBay, to assess the fair market value and availability of products currently in inventory, as well as secondary market research of all VeeFriends Collectible products. Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures for all collectibles, maintaining high standards for product condition and presentation and avoiding degradation of their quality and condition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven project management experience, focusing on overseeing end-to-end operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in order fulfillment and returns management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in shipping processes.
  • Proficiency in social media account management, community engagement, and content creation.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, specifically in inventory management and storage unit oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing regular reports.
  • Familiarity with the collectibles industry and a passion for understanding market trends, pricing, and demand.
  • Ability to work on-site and actively participate in in-person events, as required.
  • Physical capability to lift to 80 pounds.
