Müller's Solutions is seeking a skilled Temenos Transact Functional Consultant to join our team to to play a pivotal role in the implementation, customization, and support of our Temenos Transact (formerly T24) core banking system. he ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the platform is configured to optimize banking operations. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering functional solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis & Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and end-users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Functional Configuration: Configure and customize the Temenos Transact system to meet specific business needs across various modules (e.g., Retail Banking, Deposits, Lending, Payments, Treasury).
  • Module Expertise: Provide deep functional expertise in key Temenos Transact domains such as:
  • Retail & Corporate Banking: Account creation, Customer Information, Transactions.
  • Debits: Savings, Current, and Term Deposit accounts.
  • Customization & Development: Work closely with technical teams to specify and validate the development of customizations, including new fields, versions, menus, and routines using Temenos TAFC/TAFJ.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead and participate in system testing cycles—including Unit Testing, SIT (System Integration Testing), and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)—to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Implementation & Support: Support the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including data migration, go-live, and post-production support. Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues.
  • Training & Documentation: Create detailed functional specification documents, configuration guides, and user manuals. Conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
  • Best Practices: Advocate for and implement Temenos best practices and standards in all project phases.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Temenos Data Migration tools (e.g., TEMENOS Data Migration Studio).
  • Familiarity with the TAFJ (Temenos Application Framework for Java) environment and ability to interact effectively with technical developers.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Temenos Transact or similar banking software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and financial services is essential.
  • Experience with Temenos product configurations, functional specifications, and user documentation.
  • Excellent analytical skills to understand and address client needs effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Temenos certification or equivalent training is a plus.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
