School Based Licensed Mental Health Professionals
Compensation: up to $40/hr (based on experience/contract type)
Location: Telehealth (must be licensed in TX)
Hours: 8am-4pm
Position Summary:
As a school-based licensed mental health professional, focus will be on supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being so they can succeed academically and socially. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide individual and/or group counseling to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
- Conduct mental health assessments and screenings
- Develop treatment or support plans for students with identified needs
- Provide crisis intervention for situations such as suicidal ideation, self-harm, bullying, or trauma
- Work closely with teachers, school administrators, and special education teams
- Offer consultation to teachers on classroom behavior management and student emotional needs
- Maintain clinical documentation, progress notes, and service records
- Meet compliance standards and school district policies
- Track outcomes and monitor student progress
Qualifications:
- Licensed Mental Health Professional in the State of TX (required).
- Knowledge of behavioral health screening tools and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Strong telehealth proficiency and ability to adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- Maintain clinical competency and compliance with all applicable regulations.
