Psychiatrist -F/T
MindCare Solutions, is a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions in various settings: clinician owned and operated. We are seeking a F/T Telehealth Psychiatrist to manage the operation and provides overall direction and leadership for the provision of the mental health services in the facility.
Compensation: up to $200/hour (1099)
Location: Outpatient Telehealth
Schedule: F/T - Monday-Friday (no weekends, no on-call)
Position Summary:
The MindCare Psychiatrist will provide inpatient and outpatient support and oversight to the medical division within MindCare Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed
- The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.
- Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc.
- The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.
- Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.
- The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care.
- Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract.
Qualifications:
- Psychiatrist is required to be licensed in PA
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
- Valid and unrestricted DEA in PA
- Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely
