Job Summary
Responsibilities include all aspects of Telecom operations within the Colorado Resorts and Corporate offices. These include hiring, supervision and professional development of on-site IT staff, coordination of telecom related projects, procurement of hardware and software, support of all telecommunications systems and all other OSP related infrastructure. Position is focused on customer service, system reliability, project management and employee supervision.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports IT and resort management in any and all aspects of departmental operations
- Acts as IT point of contact on coordination of projects and support issues for resorts
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training and providing professional development opportunities for staff members. Responsible for performance reviews
- Daily supervision of staff, management of on-call schedule and coordination with help desk and other IT departments on a daily basis to ensure acceptable customer service levels
- Works with corporate finance department resources to maintain and adhere to established budgets. Provide SME on carrier inventory and expenditure
- Install, support and maintain (Moves/Adds/Changes) all on-site software and hardware to support local operations as described by company and departmental policies and standards
- Hardware support for retail and hospitality operations as needed. This will include support of on-mountain systems
- After hours work and on-call support are required
- May require some lifting, carrying and operation of company vehicles
- Plans and coordinates the procurement of equipment and software according to department standards and procedures
- Project management
- Maintains vendor relationships
- Maintains relationships with key departments and departmental contacts as needed for implementation of projects and maintenance schedules
Job Requirements
- 5 years minimum of telecom management experience. Strong leadership and supervisory skills required
- 5 years minimum experience in PBX administration and maintenance
- Strong understanding of OSP design and installation
- Strong understanding of cellular design, technology and administration
- Strong understanding of TEM and fiscal responsibility is required
- Advanced understanding of network design and troubleshooting skills required for network protocols such as TCP/IP and VoIP
- Ability to manage vendors and contractors to accomplish company goals
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills are required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised within all levels of the department and corporation
- After hours support and maintenance, on-call duties and on-mountain work assignments are required
- Voicemail, conference bridge, call center technology, IVR and E-911
- Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to pass MVR
Skills Required
