Interoperability Technician

What you’ll achieve

As an Interoperability Technician you will be responsible of different projects of Interoperability within the Healthcare sector.

You will be responsible of application of standards, techniques and implementation guides to design data integration across public health and healthcare systems.

This is a hands-on position that will work across multiple, simultaneous data interoperability engagements with day-to-day interactions with business sponsors, business partners and technical staff.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

• Design specific artifacts to enable data integration including data dictionaries, data traceability matrixes, and test messages

• Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure business requirements are met

• Analyse and document customer requirements and business workflow for interoperability processes

• Automate tests and validate implemented interfaces based on customer requirements

• Maintains and supports existing interfaces

Essential Requirements

• Ability to gather and interpret information

• Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities

• Experience with healthcare interoperability and messaging standards, including but not limited to HL7 2.x, HL7 3.x, HL7 FHIR, IHE integration profiles and technical frameworks, and X12 HIPPA transactions and code sets

• Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SOAP, REST…)

• Understanding of SQL and DSL language

• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, …)

Desirable Requirements

• HL7 Certification

• FHIR Certification

• Experience in public health / healthcare informatics

• Experience with standard based vocabulary and terminology including SNOMED-CT and LOINC

• Excellent communication skills (in English / Spanish)
