As a Technology Support Lead at JPMorganChase in Corporate - Data Center Services, you will be in a leadership role that manages a team of engineers that helps to ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of the Firm's production data centers and its services. In this role you will use your critical thinking skills while overseeing day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems will be key and set you up for success as you navigate tasks related to identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
- Manages and oversees teams of technologists that provide end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery for the successful business operations of the firm
- Executes policies and procedures that ensure operational stability and availability
- Monitors production environments for anomalies, address issues, and drive evolution of utilization of standard observability tools
- Escalates and communicate issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders, actively participating from incident resolution to service restoration
- Leads incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Proven experience leading technology support operations in a mission‑critical, 24x7 data center environment
- Demonstrated people management experience, including full‑time employees and contract staff
- Strong incident management and escalation leadership experience in high-availability environments
- Ability to engage directly with customers and senior stakeholders
- Ability to balance day to day operational management with participation in strategic and project based initiatives
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Previous experience with team leadership and personnel management
- Experience supporting large scale projects such as data center exits, consolidations, or transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure operations, including hands‑and‑feet support, logistics, and site services
- Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages and / or automation scripting
