Summary: We are looking for a technically strong and strategically minded AWS Administrator – Associate Manager to lead and manage the administration of our AWS infrastructure. This role combines hands-on cloud administration expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring operational excellence, platform scalability, and team performance in a fast-paced environment. As the Associate Manager, you will oversee a team of cloud engineers and administrators, manage AWS resource governance, and ensure secure, optimized, and reliable operations across our cloud environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Team & Project Leadership: • Lead and manage a team of AWS administrators and cloud engineers. • Oversee day-to-day AWS operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs, uptime, and performance standards. • Coordinate project deliverables, prioritize tasks, and manage capacity planning. • Serve as the technical escalation point for AWS-related issues. AWS Infrastructure Oversight: • Administer AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudTrail, and others. • Guide the adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. • Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of cloud environments using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, etc. • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations across AWS workloads. Governance & Optimization: • Implement and enforce AWS governance policies including tagging, billing accountability, identity access controls, and resource provisioning. • Monitor cloud usage and optimize costs using tools such as AWS Budgets, Cost Explorer, and Trusted Advisor. • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC, HIPAA, PCI). Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: • Work closely with DevOps, Security, Architecture, and Application teams to support deployments and environment management. • Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure integration with automation and version control tools. • Communicate platform status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and senior management. Professional and Technical Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 9+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure and services. • Deep understanding of core AWS services and best practices. • Proficiency with CLI tools, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell), and version control (e.g., Git). • Strong experience with IaC and automation frameworks. • Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, Route Tables, NAT, VPNs, Direct Connect). Additional Information: • 15 years of mandatory education as per Accenture Standards. • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional. • Experience with containerized environments (e.g., ECS, EKS, Docker). • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments or on-prem integrations. • Familiarity with Agile project delivery and DevOps practices.15 years full time education
