About this PositionWe are looking for Technology Support Analyst to join our Information Technology department.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain and support all corporate technology hardware, software, including desktops, laptops, servers and tape library, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, copiers etc.
- Analyze and resolve computer hardware and software problems reported by staff, in a timely manner
- Research, acquire and integrate new hardware and software into systems and provide technical guidance to end-users
- Coordinate and liaise with vendors regarding support of Telecom, Servers, AV and other peripherals
- Perform Production printing operations as and when required
- Assists team with various IT projects.
- Occasional inspection of cables under desks and, floors and ceiling spaces
- Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
- Available for emergency support during non-business hours
- Other IT duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary education in Computer Technology field or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through related work experience
- 2 to 3 years in a Network or PC Administration role in a business environment
- Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems including Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Office 365, TCP/IP networking
- Strong PC configuration and trouble shooting skills
- Excellent communications, organizational and time management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment
- Ability to stay current with technologies
