Job Summary

The Information Technology Strategy Team is part of the Information Technology Organization led by Comcast Connectivity and Platform’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Strategy Team supports the strategic direction of Information Technology focusing on the operating model: people, process, and performance. The Strategy Team Lead reports to the CIO and the Technical Program Manager will work closely with the CIO and Leadership Team helping to drive the strategic direction of the organization.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:              

  • Create and manage the IT Capabilities Portfolio, identifying all technology assets (Platforms, Applications, Services, Tools, Application Programming Interfaces, etc.) and mapping them to capabilities aligned with business goals and value.

  • Lead Application Rationalization efforts by strategically assessing and operationalizing the IT software portfolio across capabilities, business impact, TIME Model (Tolerate, Invest, Migrate, Eliminate) resource allocation, and financials.

  • Create and manage Strategic Technology Roadmaps, contributing to Long Range Planning by aligning technology capabilities and innovation with business goals.

  • Develop and manage marketecture artifacts, using storytelling to drive alignment and showcase IT’s value creation to all stakeholders, particularly business partners.

  • Act as a facilitator and creator of value, delivering insights and recommendations with strong influencing and persuasion skills.

  • Collaborate closely with leads across delivery, architecture, finance, and business.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skill & Attributes:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, program management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership and the ability to inspire confidence and trust.

  • Exhibits strategic thinking and execution with relevant experience in technology and strategy, along with excellent partnership, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Proactive and motivated with a growth mindset; highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective in team environments.

  • Displays a strong passion for software delivery, portfolio management, and the ability to convey complex ideas through storytelling.
