Key responsibilities
In this role, you will support the business across multiple areas by applying advanced SAP expertise and a strong understanding of business processes to analyze, optimize, and support end-to-end operations.
As a key SAP expert, you will contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to increase process efficiency and drive business performance.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creation, evaluation, tracking, and testing of SAP requirements and change requests.
- First point of contact for SAP key users, including the delivery of training sessions and knowledge transfer when required.
- Providing daily SAP support to employees across the company, including ticket handling, issue analysis, and problem resolution.
- Contributing to SAP projects and supporting the smooth implementation of system changes and new functionalities.
- Analyzing and optimizing business processes in close collaboration with SAP key users and business departments.
- Configuring, installing, and supporting hardware components such as label printers and barcode scanners.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in this area of responsibility.
- Experience in production planning/preparation, manufacturing, or a comparable industrial environment.
- Basic to advanced knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, WM, EWM, and GRC.
- Experience in SAP support, user administration, and role management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Fluent German language skills and good command of English.
