Job Description
Join a role that's central to our technological resilience, offering a unique opportunity to shape the firm's tech risk strategy and enhance industry compliance.
As a Tech Risk & Controls Director in Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the firm's technology risk management strategy. Leveraging your advanced knowledge and expertise in technology-risk disciplines, you will identify, oversee, and mitigate compliance and operational risks in line with the firm's standards. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Owners, Business Control Managers, and regulators, to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the technology risk posture and its impact on the business. Your ability to make calculated decisions, manage large teams, and drive strategic projects will be crucial in ensuring the firm's adherence to regulatory obligations and industry best practices. Your work will contribute to the long-term success and resilience of the organization in an ever-evolving technology landscape.
The Strategy and Governance Lead will work under the direction of the Head of CTC Executive Governance and the Head of CTC Business Strategy & Shared Services to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive executive reporting program to keep the JPMC Board and Senior Management informed on critical technology and cybersecurity matters, as well as oversee governance and reporting for Global Technology governance committees and management forums. This role will additionally drive content for CTC-wide strategic planning and execution, ensuring that strategic content is created, available, and effectively communicates the progress and impact of CTC's strategic priorities to stakeholders at all levels. Strong enterprise risk management remains a key area of focus for the firm, Global Technology, and CTC as it enables the organization to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impede overall strategic objectives. Effective risk management and governance enhances senior management decision-making processes, allowing informed decisions that balance risk with opportunity.
