For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for Technology Project Manager role.
About the Team
As Technology Project Manager you will be a key member of the Technology projects team, responsible for the end to end delivery and successful completion of technology projects to bring about positive change for our lawyers, support staff and clients.
You will have a focus on ensuring that projects are delivered effectively and well-embedded in the business, in accordance with best practice and the firm’s project management methodology.
In doing so, you will work closely with our Project Management Office, colleagues in the project management team, other members of the Technology department, business team’s such as Finance, Marketing and HR and our lawyers.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of project management and the full project lifecycle, directly managing and developing the project team.
Understand project requirements and work directly with business stakehold
Establish effective project governance and organisation, providing clear, proactive leadership and support to project personnel.
Select, source, and manage project suppliers and third-party vendors, including leading Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and handling risk or issue escalation as required.Ensure compliance with the firm’s project management methodology and processes.
Serve as the primary escalation and resolution point for project risks and issues, escalating further as appropriate.
Manage both internal and external project resources to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
Prepare and review essential project documentation, especially business cases and project initiation documents (PIDs), as well as project plans and status reports.
Oversee project budgets, including expenditure tracking, forecasting, and year-end accounting.
Identify, plan, and execute actions to manage project risks proactively and resolve issues promptly.
Develop realistic project plans that balance quality, budget, and timelines.
Forecast and plan project resource requirements accurately to achieve agreed objectives.
Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, engaging directly with business users to gather requirements and manage expectations.
Take responsibility for business change activities and implement structured change management, ensuring user adoption, stakeholder readiness, and measurable business outcomes.
Demonstrate strong, visible project leadership, driving performance, adaptability, and engagement to overcome project challenges.
Model a collaborative, supportive, and accountable approach for the entire project team.
Apply if you:
Have 3 to five 5 direct experience in end-to-end project management, including direct leadership and management of project teams,
Have successfully delivered projects across areas such as cyber security, CRM, SAP, artificial intelligence, software development, software as a service, application & installations or reporting tools,
Communicate clearly and confidently in English with stakeholders at all levels, including directly with business and end-user stakeholders.
Have hands-on experience using project management tools, such as Azure DevOps, to track progress and coordinate across teams.
Demonstrate solid experience with project budget management and financial controls.
Have led sourcing, vendor management, and RFP processes, with clear examples of managing third-party suppliers and resolving vendor issues or risk escalations.
Have direct experience preparing and reviewing business cases, project initiation documents (PIDs), and other critical project documentation.
Hold a higher degree, ideally in IT technology or a relatable
Take full ownership of business change activities in projects, including structured change management, stakeholder engagement, and supporting long-term user adoption.
Are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Are decisive, take accountability for results, and can confidently guide project direction.
Are motivated by achieving successful outcomes and fostering a high-performing, adaptable team.
Remain calm and effective when facing shifting priorities or working under pressure.
Hold a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or Association for Project Management (APM) equivalent,
Location
Warsaw - hybrid model (2 days per week at the office, regular visits are expected)
Business trip to UK is required from time to time (less than 10%)
