JOB DESCRIPTION & MAIN TASKS

​To support its growth, Yole Group is looking for a Technology & Market Analyst specialized in Power Electronics.​

​As part of our expert team, as an engineer or a PhD, you will play a central role in delivering in-depth insights and strategic analysis focused on power devices, modules and their associated packaging technologies. ​


You will analyze technology trends, competitive landscapes, market dynamics, and business strategies across the semiconductor supply chain.


Location: Lyon (69), France
Travel: 3–4 times per year for international conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.


As an Analyst, your main tasks will be to:


  • Oversee technology and industry insights from technology to manufacturing trends for power devices (Si IGBTs, Si and SiC MOSFETs,…) and power modules for different end-applications
  • Collect data from different sources according to our internal methodologies
  • Understand the impact of the emergence of new or improved technologies in various applications
  • Execute business, marketing, technology analysis within a given timeframe and budget
  • Create and manage long-term relationships with customers and answer clients' inquiries
  • Collect information and promote our activities in conferences and dedicated tradeshows
  • Give presentations at international conferences and workshops

 



Requirements

 

  • University Degree (Masters, Engineer, PhD) in electronics, microelectronics, nanotechnologies or any related field is mandatory.
  • An MBA or a double degree in Business would be a real plus.​
  • +3/5 years in the power electronics industry (R&D, production, market intelligence, product management, business development …) is mandatory​
  • Good knowledge of data modelling
  • Required English level: minimum CECR - C1

Skills Required

  • Master’s degree, engineering degree, PhD, or equivalent university degree in electronics, microelectronics, nanotechnologies, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in the power electronics industry, including R&D, production, market intelligence, product management, or business development

  • English proficiency at minimum CEFR C1 level
