At Flowdesk, we are building the infrastructure powering the next era of global finance. As a full-service digital asset trading and technology firm, we provide liquidity solutions, OTC trading, and market infrastructure that connect digital assets to global markets with institutional-grade precision, transparency, and scale. Flowdesk combines expertise from traditional finance, algorithmic trading, and blockchain technology to deliver always-on trading capabilities across the digital asset ecosystem.
Founded in 2020, we have grown into a global team supporting institutions, exchanges, and token issuers worldwide as the financial system evolves toward tokenized markets.
Why join Flowdesk? You'll be joining a company operating at the intersection of finance, technology, and crypto - solving complex market problems, building critical infrastructure, and helping shape how digital assets move globally. We move fast, think long term, and work with a strong ownership mindset across engineering, trading, product, operations, and business teams.
Role Description
We are a cloud-native crypto market-making firm operating across regulated jurisdictions. Our IT Operations team runs a reliable, secure, well-supported environment for our people, and owns how the business experiences IT day to day.
You will be part of IT Operations, the team that runs the environment. The platforms you work in (Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace) are configured and secured by our Secure Engineering team; your focus is operating within that setup and giving our Dubai colleagues excellent support. There is room to grow your technical depth over time, including structured exposure to the engineering side for those who want it.
Most day-to-day work sits at Tier 1, with Tier 2 support as needed. You will also take part in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours coverage supporting other regional offices.
- Provide hands-on deskside and end-user support for the Dubai office: hardware, software, accounts, and day-to-day troubleshooting across Mac and the corporate toolset
- Own onboarding and offboarding execution locally: prepare and set up devices and accounts so new joiners are ready on day one, and carry out leaver steps promptly and completely
- Operate the office IT environment: meeting-room and AV setup and support, local connectivity, and the physical IT estate
- Manage devices through our MDM (Jamf): enrolment, standard software deployment, and routine device actions within policy
- Handle access and account tasks within policy through our identity platform (Okta) and Google Workspace
- Work the ticket queue to agreed service levels, keeping users informed and closing issues out properly
- Maintain local asset records and contribute to inventory accuracy
- Take part in an on-call rota and provide occasional out-of-hours support for other regional offices
- Escalate anything beyond day-to-day operation - platform configuration, policy changes, engineering issues - to the Secure Engineering team, and follow the runbooks and standards the team maintains
Requirements
Must Have
- Solid hands-on end-user and deskside support experience, including macOS support
- Comfortable working as the sole on-site IT person, managed remotely: self-directed, reliable, good judgement on when to act and when to escalate
- Willing and able to work on-site five days a week and to participate in an on-call rota including occasional out-of-hours cover
- Experience with device management (MDM such as Jamf or similar) and identity/SSO tools (Okta or similar)
- Experience running onboarding and offboarding end to end: devices and accounts ready before day one, access fully revoked on the leaver's last day, no gaps
- Meeting-room and AV, and general office IT support experience
- Clear, friendly communication and a genuine service mindset; people trust you to follow through
- Discretion and security-mindedness suited to a regulated financial environment
Preferred
- Google Workspace knowledge (day-to-day admin tasks, not full platform ownership)
- Exposure to a ticketing / ITSM tool (JSM or similar)
- Familiarity with endpoint security tooling
- Awareness of working in a regulated or security-conscious environment
- Knowledge of Terraform and scripting languages

- Curious and autonomous

- Strong maths and analytical skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Professional proficiency in English
