About the team
You will join a rapid-growing Professional Services team consisting of 100+ consultants dispersed around the globe, mostly located in Europe. The team manages around 350 client projects yearly, from small consultancy to large first implementation, upgrades and global rollouts. The product we deliver is FIS Payment Hub (formerly known as Trax), an award-winning payment hub providing strong controls and workflow for domestic and cross-border payment processes.
What you will be doing
· Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.
· Serves as liaison between end-users and consultants during consulting projects.
· Research and document client needs, technology or regulations related to system design or enhancements.
· Defines product scope, data models, objectives, and requirements for product development and testing.
· Analyze marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services.
· Devise and/or modify processes and procedures to solve complex technical problems.
· Write test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications.
· Conduct a variety of tests and integration.
· Consult directly with clients and may travel to client site.
· Act as team leader for technical aspects of consulting projects leading sub-plans or small projects.
· Play a key role in training client and technical support personnel on enhancements, new systems or procedures.
· May serve as pre-sales support specialist when needed.
What you bring
Minimum 2 years of practical experience in client-facing positions
- Understanding of the financial markets specifically in one of the areas: Payments, Banking, e-Commerce, Treasury, Insurance or Liquidity Management. Otherwise, readiness to learn it fast
- A degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Economics or Engineering
- Sound understanding of software implementation project lifecycle-
- Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies (JIRA)
- Strong technical background, experience with JavaScript, SQL, Groovy Script, Logi reporting, Web Services, other third-party tools such as Jenkins.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
- Flexibility in working hours to support North America projects
- Presentation and communication skills
- Perfectly fluent in English
Bonus if you have
· Intermediate Treasury, Cash Management and Corporate Finance knowledge
· Cash Management Processes (From basics to more advanced topics such as Payment Factory, In-House Bank, Supply Chain Finance, etc.)
· Banking Connectivity (SWIFT, EBICS, etc.)
· Messages Formats (ISO20022, SWIFT MTs, Country Specific)

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $75,260.00 - $122,670.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
