Technology Associate Principal
This role will work with Enterprise IT and Business Technology leaders to drive enterprise data strategy, architecture, and governance initiatives across multiple clients. The individual will take ownership of large-scale data modernization efforts, l everaging cloud-native solutions, data architecture frameworks, and AI-driven insights to enhance enterprise data capabilities. They will provide thought leadership in data management, platform modernization, and solution architecture, helping clients build scalable, efficient, and high-impact data ecosystems. This role will also contribute to business development, client engagement, and technology advisory, expanding ZS's leadership in enterprise data strategy and digital solutions.
What You'll Do
- Lead enterprise data strategy and architecture initiatives , advising senior IT and business stakeholders on data modernization, cloud adoption, and governance frameworks .
- Develop and expand ZS's Enterprise Data Management capabilities , helping clients implement data mesh, data fabric, and AI-driven analytics platforms .
- Oversee multiple data transformation engagements , ensuring successful execution of high-impact data and cloud initiatives across commercial, clinical, and supply chain domains .
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, creating capability roadmaps, and developing data-driven business cases.
- Manage program governance for enterprise data initiatives, establishing structured cadences, risk management processes, and communication frameworks with clients.
- Ensure seamless integration of data solutions across platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure, Informatica IDMC, and AI-driven automation .
- Build and strengthen executive relationships , acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite and IT leadership on data strategy, transformation, and innovation.
- Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams , ensuring alignment between client objectives , ZS capabilities, and delivery excellence.
- Mentor and develop teams , fostering a high-performance, innovative, and inclusive work environment.
- Stay at the forefront of data and AI trends , contributing to thought leadership, industry insights, and the evolution of ZS's data practice .
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business or Life Sciences.
- MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable.
- 1 0 + years' experience in life science industry management consulting.
- 5 + years' experience in a leadership role within a professional service firm.
- Demonstrated experience with driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level .
- Expertise in enterprise data management , including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake), data architecture (mesh, fabric, lakehouse ), and governance frameworks .
- Strong background in data engineering, analytics, and AI-driven insights , with experience integrating platforms such as Databricks, Informatica IDMC, and Python-based data solutions .
- Deep understanding of program governance, risk management, and enterprise technology strategy .
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills , with a track record of influencing senior IT and business leaders .
- Experience in roadmap development, business case creation, and technology strategy alignment to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation .
- Ability to navigate complex, cross-functional enterprise environments , ensuring seamless execution of large-scale data initiatives .
