Applied Research Solutions is seeking Technologies Principal/Strategic Plans candidates to work within HNI at Hanscom, AFB. The C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) focuses on providing enterprise support to Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. The office also provides technical and policy support and provides C3I infrastructure for the USAF enterprise applications.

Responsibilities will include:

This Principal must be capable of applying extensive expertise to solve complex EITaaS problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Must be capable of applying expertise to identify and resolve complex problems independently. Must understand and apply principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Must be capable of developing solutions to a variety of complex problems and perform work under general direction. Must be capable to plan schedules and arrange activities in support of efficiently accomplishing objectives.

  • Lead efforts within assigned EITaaS functional areas in support of developing Strategic Plans and providing expert recommendations in Networking / Telecom models.
  • Define Service Life Cycle and Process Governance and develops Oversight and Management Plans.
  • Provide requirements and Service Level Agreement definitions. Assists in planning, documenting, and reviewing proposed Application Migration Strategies.
  • Assists in the development of a strategic plan with the vision, goals, and objectives applicable to their functional area of expertise.
  • Provide expert consulting to assist the government in defining EITaaS specific Cyber Security requirements, definitions and provides support in appropriately applying these concepts in the AFNet RMF.
  • Provide expertise to assist in the implementation of EITaaS Transition and strategies to normalize Operations Support.
  • Provide functional area expertise to stakeholder communication strategies.
  • Will perform other tasks as assigned. 

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree (MA/MS) 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 years of which must be in the DoD
  • or a BA/BS degree and 20 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 of which must be in the DoD
  • or 25 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 10 of which must be in the DoD
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Must be a US citizen

The expected annual salary range: $192k - $220k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
