The Technician - Associate Engineer - Research and Development will be located out of the JMA offices in Bologna, Italy in the Castel San Pietro Terme area.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design models from scratch using advanced 3D CAD tools (Solidworks).
- Maintain version-controlled documentation to facilitate collaboration and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
- Communicate regularly to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders via verbal and written communication.
- Refine plastic/metal assemblies, create part numbers and extracting BOMS data and specifications for both Operation and Purchasing Teams.
- Support other teams for standard related testing (both in-house and external labs).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience that includes SolidWorks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize firmware solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to travel, periodically, domestic and international to support client meetings.
- English language is an asset.
