We’re seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to document our decisions, process changes, technical updates, and new release features. This role ensures clarity, consistency, and accessibility of information across engineering, product, and business teams.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Proven experience in technical writing within software, DevOps, or SRE/engineering environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), release processes, and change management.
- Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion, GitHub/GitLab, Markdown).
- Excellent written communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Bonus: experience documenting incident management, release notes, or architectural decisions.
Job duties
- Capture and document key technical and process decisions in a structured, accessible format.
- Write clear, concise release notes highlighting technical changes, new features, and their impact.
- Create and maintain documentation for engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and SREs to translate complex concepts into user-friendly documentation.
- Maintain version control and ensure documentation accuracy through review cycles.
