What you’ll be doing:

• • Provide technical documentation that helps clients get the most out of their applications
  • Synthesize information to develop or update content as directed
  • Design, develop, and implement customized technical documents, such as knowledge articles, user manuals, job aids, guided tours, help documents, and tutorials
  • Capture, edit, and manage screenshots to create clear, consistent images 
  • Coordinate for publication in print (e.g., PDF, PPT) and electronic (e.g., knowledge base) format
  • Support team in collecting and interpreting technical data or information to assess needs, objectives, functions, features, and requirements
  • Work cross-functionally with client stakeholders, software developers, and other team members throughout the content production process under the guidance of senior technical writers or manager 
  • Review and/or copyedit content developed by other team members 
  • Perform 508 Accessibility checks to comply with WCAG on all content created

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

• Professional Experience:
• Career-development professional within field
• Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline 
• Proficient working with Microsoft 365, SnagIt, and Google Workspace (HTML experience a plus)
• Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under supervision with some latitude for independent judgment
• 1-3 years of work experience in a relevant or related field
• Able to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable through text and graphics for technical and non-technical audiences
• Able to comfortably and professionally communicate with colleagues and external partners at all levels of seniority
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, that reflect strong critical thinking, analysis, and synthesis capabilities
• Self-motivated and effective in a fluid environment
• Education and Certifications:
• Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; and 1-3 years experience, or more, working in professional services teams, information technology, or business operations; OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experiences relative to the domain of expertise

Note: Base salary range is $62,000 to $83,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
