Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. Specializing in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to contacts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with a focus of clarity, accuracy, and compliance with government regulations.
Location: Fort Knox centric (REMOTE)
Required Clearance: Secret with ability to obtain TS
Required Education: Associate’s degree in relevant field.
Required Experience: Three+ (3+) years of experience as a Technical Writer
Responsibilities:
· Experience in explaining highly technical data and information in simplistic grade school language for end users of complex IT systems and projects.
· Must be able to use a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and scheduling tools.
· Must have experience in being able to gather and convert data into a written narrative.
· Develop comprehensive and clear documentation for government contracts, including proposals, technical specifications, and project plans.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
· Stay up to date with government regulations and contract requirements to ensure all documentation adheres to relevant standards.
· Verify that all content complies with security and privacy policies associated with government contracts.
· Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, coherence, and adherence to contractual requirements.
Requirements
· Ensure consistency in language and style across all government contract documentation.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, project management, and technical teams, to gather information and insights for documentation.
· Implement version control systems for documentation to track changes and maintain accurate records.
· Proven experience in technical writing, with a focus on government contracts.
· Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications or a relate field.
