We are looking for a Technical Writer to help us… well, if you’re one, you know why we need you.

This is a great opportunity to join our award-winning DocOps team and become an integral part of a successful go-to-market pipeline in which a tech writer is involved from the idea to delivery.

What You'll Do Here

• Own the pipeline for your features’ product documentation.
• Own the lifecycle of your documentation – write, create, edit, deprecate.
• Communicate with all key stakeholders inside our organization about new features, updates, and deprecations.
• Help our customers understand our product better.
• Provide feedback to everyone you work with.

What You'll Bring to Us

You must be able to ask the right questions and manage the information flow from engineering and product managers. There are processes, but there are also humans that you will be interacting with, and we expect you to navigate that and hold your ground.

To be able to do the above, previous experience in documenting a SaaS product is a must, including an understanding of the Agile process. This is not a junior tech writer job. We won’t list the years… but two years is a bare minimum.

We’ll give you access to all resources, tools, and in general, everything you’ll need. You can also ask our teams (or anybody in our company, really) for help no matter what you need. However, nobody will be holding your hand and micromanage what you do on daily basis. We expect you to be working and prioritize independently, not just doing what you are told.

English is the official language of Emplifi. For tech writing specifically, nobody will be proofreading the content you produce so you need to deliver customer-facing quality. Having said that, if you’re not sure, just ask. You may start an intriguing linguistic debate.

Our DocOps team is known for tongue-in-cheek, or foot-in-mouth, multilingual jokes, so if you’re of that disposition, you’ll fit right in.

Of course, the more languages you know, the better.
