We are seeking a Technical Training Expert - Video & Streaming Technologies to shape and drive our global technical training strategy, and deliver high-impact learning experiences to both our teams and customers.

Role Overview

As a Technical Training Expert, you will play a key role in shaping how our teams and customers master cutting-edge video and cloud solutions. Reporting to the VP of Field Operations, you will define the company’s technical training strategy and negotiate the content roadmap with regional operations directors, sales directors, and customers.

As an expert in video delivery and microservices, you will design and deliver both in-person and online training programs for our customers and Ateme employees.

This role also requires a commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date with OTT and broadcast technologies, obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications, and conducting ongoing technology watch to stay informed about major evolutions in the video industry.

Main activities

As a Technical Training Expert, you will :

  • Drive the training strategy by defining impactful content in collaboration with both internal experts and external stakeholders;

  • Lead the design of cutting-edge technical training programs, working closely with Ateme’s subject matter experts to turn complex topics into engaging learning experiences;

  • Create hands-on, cloud-based learning labs to ensure users gain practical, real-world expertise on Ateme’s products;

  • Own and continuously improve the training production lifecycle — from topic selection and instructional design to building scenario-based assessments and contributing to video production (shooting & editing)

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and work in close partnership with the VP Field Operations, based in Vélizy (France), to align training initiatives with business priorities.

Essential requirements:

  • A strong foundation in IP networking, cloud and IT environments, with hands-on experience (or the ability to quickly build it);

  • Experience in OTT and/or Broadcast technologies, including video encoding, transport and streaming protocols (HLS/DASH, HTTP);

  • Around 5+ years of experience in IT, video or related technical environments;

  • Proven ability to teach, train or communicate complex technical topics to different audiences;

  • The ability to understand complex technical topics and make them simple and accessible to different audiences.

  • Fluency in French & English

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content.

  • A curious, creative and problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to explore, learn and challenge the status quo.

  • Interest in or experience with video production or content creation is a plus.

  • A genuine enjoyment of sharing knowledge, with confidence (or willingness to grow) in public speaking.

  • A degree in telecommunications, engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • An industry-recognized certification (e.g. cloud, networking, Kubernetes, etc.) is a plus.
