Responsibilities:
- Lead diverse tech projects and a team of Software Engineers with expertise in distributed microservices and full stack development.
- Develop an Enterprise API Platform using GraphQL Federation architecture.
- Stay updated on tech trends, explore new technologies, participate in tech discussions, and mentor the community.
- Collaborate with Digital Product Managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of customers.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a Technical Team Lead.
- 5+ years with core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, JPA, and SQL.
- 3+ years with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s Degree
- Experience with Angular, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- 4+ years with open source frameworks.
- 2+ years with Agile practices.
Location:
- 2-3 days a week onsite in Richmond, VA.
