Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a mid-level Technical Systems Engineer to support full life-cycle systems engineering efforts across a range of mission-critical customer programs. The ideal candidate will evaluate and test emerging technologies, contribute to technical strategy, and communicate findings through high-quality written reports. This role is based in the DC Metro/Northern Virginia area and requires regular in-office work.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related discipline
- 4+ years of industry experience building technical skills across core technologies and products, with a proven ability to apply those skills in real-world, mission-driven environments
- Strong technical knowledge of at least two of the following: 5G/LTE systems, cloud infrastructure, tactical radios, sensor systems, or AI/ML testing
- Comfortable working with senior leaders in the military and commercial industry
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at technical writing and documenting complex ideas into simple and easy to understand language
- Experience with test ranges, test products, and assessment development and writing
- An ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong desire to be a part of a forward-thinking, collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or above
Desired Qualifications:
- Comfortable interaction with United States Special Operations Forces culture and environment
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Cloud Certificates
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $130,000.00 - $160,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
