What you’ll achieve

As Technical Support Specialist at Dedalus Sweden, you will ensure the reliability, performance and user satisfaction of clinical applications and infrastructure across hospitals and care facilities are maintained. You will join a team of support specialists, collaborate with clinical stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in service delivery making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests, with a strong focus on patient safety, data integrity and system uptime.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, coordinating with vendors (ISP (internet service provider) within system, Navigation system provider), IT teams, and clinical departments.
  • Collaborate with R&D, implementation, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless integration and secure operations.
  • Hold a leading role in a team providing technical support for healthcare applications, including EHR/EMR systems both at the hospital and in mobile pre-hospital settings
  • Monitor and report on support KPIs, SLAs and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, SOPs and training materials tailored to clinical users.
  • Participate in change management and risk assessments for system updates and deployments.
  • Perform customer‑specific validation of new releases to ensure they work reliably within the customers unique environment and setup.
  • Stay informed on healthcare IT trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.

Essential Requirements

  • 5 + years of relevant experience in technical support or IT service delivery, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment.
  • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, and network layers.
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting applications running on mobile/tablet devices and Windows platforms
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and remote support platforms.
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a customer-centric and safety-first mindset.
  • Self-driven and eager to keep learning, while also being a team player who knows that working together makes us all stronger.
  • Fluent in Swedish language.
  • Work Mode – Hybrid: 3 Days Work from Office- 2 Days Work from Home

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Health Informatics or related field
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, DICOM) and compliance frameworks.
  • Certifications in ITIL, or healthcare IT
  • Fluent in English and other European languages
