About the Role

As a Technical Support Specialist at Coherent, you’ll be part of a high-performing team supporting clients in their journey to unlock the full potential of Excel models through our powerful Coherent Spark platform. What Your Day-to-Day Might Look Like

Your role will be varied, engaging, and full of learning opportunities. On any given day, you might:

• Support customers with technical queries, helping them troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Excel models or the Coherent Spark platform
• Log and manage support tickets using internal tools, keeping things well-organized and customers informed
• Review and test Excel models to identify issues or optimization opportunities
• Assist in converting and preparing Excel models for use within our platform
• Work closely with senior team members, project managers, and developers to understand client needs and deliver quality solutions
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, explaining technical issues in simple, relatable terms
• Participate in team discussions and contribute to improving support processes and documentation

What You'll Need to Succeed

We're looking for curious minds and problem-solvers—people who are eager to learn and make an impact. Here's what will help you shine:

• 1–3 years' experience in a technical support, data analyst, or software-focused role
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, including functions and formulas (experience with VBA is a plus!)
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases
• Exposure to or interest in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
• Great attention to detail and a willingness to dive into problems
• Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines
• A degree in a technical, mathematical, or business-related field is preferred
• Bonus points if you’ve had exposure to financial modeling, insurance, or fintech—but it’s not a must.
