About the Company
Our
client is a global technology solutions provider supporting enterprise
customers across the financial services and transaction processing industries.
We are looking for an
experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for
enterprise platforms across the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves
incident management, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and supporting
mission-critical applications in a fast-paced production environment.
- Provide L2/L3
application support and troubleshoot production issues across enterprise
systems.
- Investigate, track,
and resolve incidents within agreed service levels (SLAs).
- Analyse system logs,
database records, and application behaviour to identify root causes and
implement fixes.
- Maintain accurate
incident documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational reports.
- Support system
monitoring, maintenance, and operational improvements to enhance platform
performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with
development, infrastructure, and support teams on issue resolution and system
enhancements.
- Participate in
on-call support rotation and assist with critical issue management outside
business hours when required.
- Degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, or a related discipline;
- At least 4 to 6 years of
experience in a production support environment;
- Experience supporting
high-availability or transaction-based systems is preferred;
- Strong troubleshooting experience
in enterprise applications and distributed systems;
- Familiarity with databases and
backend technologies such as SQL/PLSQL, Java-based applications, microservices,
and messaging systems;
- Exposure to DevOps, monitoring,
or support tools would be an advantage;
- Strong communication, analytical,
and problem-solving skills;
- Comfortable working in
high-pressure environments and managing critical incidents.
