Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for enterprise platforms across the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves incident management, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and supporting mission-critical applications in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Provide L2/L3 application support and troubleshoot production issues across enterprise systems.
  • Investigate, track, and resolve incidents within agreed service levels (SLAs).
  • Analyse system logs, database records, and application behaviour to identify root causes and implement fixes.
  • Maintain accurate incident documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational reports.
  • Support system monitoring, maintenance, and operational improvements to enhance platform performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams on issue resolution and system enhancements.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation and assist with critical issue management outside business hours when required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline;
  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in a production support environment;
  • Experience supporting high-availability or transaction-based systems is preferred;
  • Strong troubleshooting experience in enterprise applications and distributed systems;
  • Familiarity with databases and backend technologies such as SQL/PLSQL, Java-based applications, microservices, and messaging systems;
  • Exposure to DevOps, monitoring, or support tools would be an advantage;
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments and managing critical incidents.

Skills Required
