Tillster seeks a
Technical Support Data Analyst. The right person for this job loves data, processes, and working collaboratively with others to document workflows. Not only do they love these things but they love creating these things from scratch and have the technical ability to write the code necessary to make them happen. It will be important that this individual not only be able to assess the current needs of the department but also to be proactive with their analysis of data and trends to propose improvements and efficiencies in the operations of the Support department that we might not even know are needed.
Down in the weeds…
- Identifies requirements for Support processes and reports by establishing personal rapport with other employees to understand service requirements.
- Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
- Programs by encoding project requirements in computer language and entering coded information.
- Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
- Provides reference for use of computers by writing and maintaining user documentation; maintaining own processes for troubleshooting.
- Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Helps establish, analyze, and maintain internal Support KPI’s to ensure optimal performance of Support employees, tools, and workflow processes.
- Protects operations by keeping needed information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating internal needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.
About you…
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Data
• 3+ years progressive software design, development, and debugging
• 2+ years of programming experience
• 1+ year of database development and data analyst experience
• Ability to analyze information
• Some technical writing experience to write needed technical documentation
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail
• Success at small to medium B2B companies
• Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships with other employees and create strategic relationships.
Nice to haves:
• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Data preferred not required
• Some knowledge of offshore development and SaaS business principles.
• Knowledge of the types of products that Tillster uses preferred.
• Some understanding of Hospitality, Payment or Fintech industry.
• Experience working in one (or multiple) of the Quick Serve, Fast Casual, Hotels & Resorts, Food Service Management, or Food & Beverage industries.

Pay and Benefits (USA)
- Expected base salary range $80,000 - $100,000. Total starting compensation will be determined based on all lawful criteria, Company policy and best practices.
- Equity: All employees within the U.S. are eligible to participate in the Stock Option Plan.
