This involves providing a scalable, sustainable and reliable IT infrastructure, customized applications, messaging and collaboration products, Business Intelligence and Database administration support along with a reliable 24*7 uninterrupted high-quality technology support services.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT ASSOCIATE
We seek a professional for Technical Support Associate position in our Tokyo, Japan office. Technical Support Associates support the work activities of the Network Administrator, maintaining a user environment consisting of laptop and desktop computers running the standard suite of business applications. The position will support local users, as well as remotely supporting other users in other locations.
What You'll Do
- Support for laptops, printers, and MS Teams phone (including kitting, repairs, and troubleshooting)
- Installation, configuration, and support for Windows 11, Office 365, etc.
- Troubleshooting for network connectivity issues
- Support for mobile devices (Android/iOS, MDM tools)
- Installing and support for meeting room equipment, web conferencing systems (Zoom, Teams), and server room management (coordination between local vendors and global IT team)
- Identification and troubleshooting of system, and hardware issues (Room booking system, Zoom, monitors) (including secondary support )
- Setting up new user accounts and handling password issues
- Handling issues related to file servers, file sharing, and ZS applications (SharePoint, FTP)
- A sset management, and record-keeping for IT equipment
- Flexibility with working hours to coordinate with global team.
- Travel as needed by projects.
What You'll Bring
- BS/BE with record of high academic achievement.
- Technical certifications are preferred
- Strong command on Japanese and English written/verbal communication
- Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
- Excellent communication, and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Fluent in Japanese at a full professional level, with business-level proficiency in English.
