About the Role

The Technical Support Analyst serves as a primary point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance with hardware, software, telecommunications, and technology access.

In this role, you will provide frontline technical support in a primarily Microsoft Windows environment, troubleshoot and resolve technology issues, manage help desk tickets, and assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.

You will work closely with experienced IT professionals, internal teams, and technology vendors to ensure employees have the tools and support they need to be successful.

What You'll Do

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal technology support requests.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and user access issues.

  • Provide remote technical assistance for Windows-based computers, peripherals, and end-user technology.

  • Deliver timely, professional, and customer-focused technical support.

User Account & Equipment Management

  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access requests.

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access changes, and equipment coordination.

  • Assist with workstation configuration, deployment, and remote hardware support.

  • Coordinate with approved technology vendors for equipment repair or replacement.

  • Maintain accurate technology asset inventory and lifecycle records.

Help Desk & Ticket Management

  • Document, prioritize, track, and resolve technical support requests using the help desk system.

  • Provide timely updates to employees regarding issue resolution.

  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when appropriate.

  • Follow established service standards and technical support procedures.

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Create and maintain internal technical documentation and knowledge resources.

  • Collaborate with IT team members and vendors to resolve technical issues.

  • Participate in team meetings, technical training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Identify opportunities to improve technical support processes and the employee experience.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience providing technical support or troubleshooting Microsoft Windows-based systems.

  • Experience diagnosing and resolving common hardware, software, and end-user technology issues.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple support requests, prioritize tasks, and meet established service expectations.

  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Vocational or technical degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+) certification.

  • CompTIA A+ certification (completed or in progress).

  • Google IT Support Professional Certificate.

  • Experience supporting employees in a remote or distributed work environment.

  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems, user account administration, and IT asset management.

We have a corporate office located in Seattle, Washington so the ideal candidate will be based in this area.  From time-to-time technical support may be needed in the office.

Candidates should have reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace suitable for providing remote technical support. The role requires regular use of computers, telecommunications equipment, and virtual collaboration tools.
