Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design and Development
- Lead the design and development of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and configurations.
- Develop and maintain custom objects, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, and other Salesforce.com features.
- Leverage Salesforce tools like Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Project Management
- Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and updates, and proactively recommend improvements to existing solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to ensure users are proficient with the implemented solutions.
- Quality Assurance and Support
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Salesforce solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions to ensure continuous improvement and user satisfaction.
- Compliance and Security
- Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Proven experience in leading development projects and managing teams.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud features and capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Experience Service Cloud Consultant, are highly preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Persuasive communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
